genU Training has a number of methods by which we can support you to continue to engage with your education and training at this time. We encourage you to contact your Course Coordinator to discuss how you can continue to study from home and connect with your trainer remotely.
Please read and consider the following advice:
- If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms (including cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, body aches or fatigue) please seek medical advice. Always call ahead to notify the medical practitioner of recent travel or potential exposure to a confirmed case.

- If you are returning to Australia from travel and arrive from 12am on Monday 16th March, you are now required to self-isolate for 14 days.

- If you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus, you must isolate yourself for 14 days from the last contact with the confirmed case.

If you have coronavirus
If you’re a job seeker who has coronavirus, please get in contact with the Department of Human Services to advise them that you have coronavirus (COVID-19). They will grant you a Major Personal Crisis exemption from your usual requirements.
- Newstart Allowance and Special Benefit recipients – call 132 850
- Youth Allowance recipients – call 132 490
- Parenting Payment Single recipients with mutual obligation requirements – call 136 150.
